The confluence of grey and blue

This was the first song made in partnership with Paulo. He had written the lyrics when he met me at a festival. He came to me, after listening to my song that had been presented, and he said "I have lyrics that talk about the cemetery. Do you want to compose the song for it?". From there, a great friendship was born, as well as a song that escapes traditional sequences.

The narrative of the lyrics tells the story of Rupert walking in the middle of a cemitery, where he suddenly imagines himself talking to a dead person, about what this person regarded as truly important in his life. Finally Rupert asks him about the significance of the symbol of the cross which laid on his tomb. Had it been the reason of his life?

"The confluence of grey and blue"  begins with "Rupert's entry into the sanctuary" and finishes with "Rupert's decision".
